I don’t believe Vrana has that much trade value due to his injury history and recent stint in the player assistance program. I like the idea of acquiring Hanifin, but I don’t c the isles trading Romanov given Pelech’s recent injury history. A deal built around Bolduc, Wally and a first MAY get the deal done, but I’m not even confident in that tbh.

The only thing of value in both trades is probably Romanov and the picks

professional islanders hate out here lmao.

Saying Bolduc, Wahlstrom and Holmstrom have zero value is beyond laughable

I want Durandeau in the NHL too, really bad.

Vrana probably only gets like Wahlstrom + 3rd imo, like @Not_Isles5513 said

Holmstrom looks the best out of the 3. Lambert doesn’t trust Bolduc enough to play more than 10 minutes and he looks weak at times. Wahlstrom just doesn’t do anything in my eyes

Bolduc looks good when he plays

Lane is just Trotz 2.0 and refuses to play anyone with skill

Trotz probably wanted players to play a good overall game. Not just good at offense or defense or forechecking

Holmstrom looks better than wahlstrom even pre-injury. He’s a better 2 way forward IMO

Pelech’s injury should make Lou want to upgrade Romanov into an actual top 4 caliber defenseman

Wahlstrom doesn’t look good to me. People called him a sniper and his shot isn’t even that impressive. But then again that’s my opinion of the games I’ve seen when the rangers aren’t on

Wahlstrom ranks 4th on the isles in goals per 60 out of any forward who’s played for the team over the last 3 seasons and his shooting is well above average as you can see here

Yea and that chart also says he’s an elite defensive forward which isn’t true lmao

If you watched the isles play it’s actually easy to see he’s excellent defensively. He protects the slot better than most isles forwards

If he was this good, then he wouldn’t be losing a lineup spot, it’s that simple lol

Same thing was said about Eeli Tolvanen. Your argument is that coaches are infallible which isn’t true
