    BOS can't really trade JD because it creates another hole in the top6.

    If they need to trade a roster player, it will be either Gryz or Frederic. Also, they don't really "need" to trade a roster player to make the cap work. Just get a second team to retain another 50%.

    Value shouldn't really be a concern if the package is Lysell + 1st + 2nd starting point.

    Sending Beecher down when he's the only left handed centre on the roster and leading the team in faceoff win %, is criminal.

    What else has he done aside from win draws? Better off getting top AHL minutes than 10 minutes a night being a -3.

    Hard disagree. His role as the 4C is to be responsible defensively, win faceoffs, and be physical. The points are a bonus.

    His defensive instincts, skating and faceoff skill is NHL ready. So there's really no need for him to be in the AHL to work on those aspects of his game. The only way to get better at it now is to do it against NHL competition.
