Duclair for Borgault 25 1st and 24 2nd is what I am going for as a Sharks fan. We can throw Blackwood in Duclairs place if that is preferable?

Does that include dumping Campbell or something? if not that's a stupid overpay

What? That’s less than what’s in this offer above.

I would do that do trade in a heartbeat to dump soup. I legit think his contract is unmovable but he would be the ultimate tank commander for the sharks. Though I would rather trade another pick or different prospect plus pick instead of Borgault as next year the oilers will need cheap right shot wingers to play top 9 roles and he should be ready by then. But trading him wouldn't be a deal breaker to dump soup.

Sharks biggest holes (in the prospect pool not the NHL team, their NHL roster has more holes than Swiss cheese) is RW, Goalie, and RD. if you have another option let me know. I’m just spitballing.

Oilers do have a lot of solid RW prospects Petrov, Beryozkin, and Tullio none will be all-stars but I do think Petrov will be a good top 6er. RHD your choices are Akey (IMO the highest upside Oilers prospect) a great skating d man and offensive guy and Wanner a big defensive d man. The only good goalie prospect is Rodrigue who is currently doing very well in the AHL. Oilers are in win now so I'd assume all of these guys are on the table also would the sharks have any interest in Broberg? I do think there's still potential but the clock is ticking and there's a LHD jam for the Oilers.

Sharks have the same LD issue.
With Vlasic, Ferraro, Knyzhov, Macdonald, & Simek NHL vets (though only Ferraro and Knyzhov are decent NHLers at this point)
And Thrun, Mukhamadullin, Othotiyuk, Furlong, & Cagnioni who all have NHL ceilings.
tasieboy liked this.
