What 24 Could Look Like

Created by: allgoaliesaretrash
Team: 2024-25 Toronto Maple Leafs
Initial Creation Date: Nov. 9, 2023
Published: Nov. 9, 2023
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Picks are for losers. Goalie can be any vet for 1/1.5ish. I'd never pay a goalie tandem more than 2mish unless they're truly elite of the elite. Trying to make the best of a bad situation.

I agree, after the first 15 Picks Overall, Picks are typically just lottery tickets; who knows what you’ll get, if anything

I don’t see Hanifin being worth more than $6.5-7mil/yr, but it’s only 7yrs not 8. I also believe Tanev will sign for less, especially with TOR

Domi ain’t worth $3mil/yr and I don’t see Nylander signing for that, unless he truly doesn’t want to play anywhere else

Zero chance of Nylander signing that cheaply.

Outside of Calgary Noah Hanifin doesn't want to play in Canada. And i'm pretty sure he doesn't waive to go there. He wants to play in the US from what has been reported.

Hanifin was reportedly interested in being Drafted by TOR originally and Toronto is pretty much the USA, so he might

Just kidding, I know it’s about the Canadian Taxation, their terrible but Free Health Care System and that their Dictator of a Prime Minister is constantly pushing Woke Ideologies and Travel & Covid Restrictions

Honestly who wants that, right!? I want out too!

Hanafin doesn't sound like a guy worth having around for that much. Better to try to sign two d-men for 3-4 mil than rely on major growth from Lily pad and Timmins.

I just learned this myself, but use that chain/link button at the top when you originally hit reply and type a title and then paste your link and voila: Hanifin Open to Being Drafter by TOR
