Despite the pretense of "being goofy", you seem to be attempting to construct a reasonable offer for McDavid so I'll give feedback: it's not enough. Cozens & Kulich are a great start but you're probably the equivalent of around 2 1sts short. I deem Cozens' worth as two 1sts, Kulich as one 1st, Krebs at around one 2nd, and I don't really attach much or any value to Clifton. In fact, in such a situation, he may even constitute a negative value for EDM but I'll grant it the more positive interpretation.

Maybe the best/most productive teenager ever to play in the AHL with either 2 or 3 ELC years. Inexpensive defensemen, unprotected 1st and a lottery ticket in Krebs feels like a good return for what will for sure be a trade demand under this scenario

I think Thompson is a better piece to be moving for McDavid because I do not know how effective he would be in 2C spot, but Cozens obviously does very well and it would be easier to EDM to agree to that deal, and I would remove Kulich, from the deal.
