and? he can be buried at only 250k penalty. And you retained 100k on him. So the Leafs get 150k savings for 2 years. Reaves negative value is very minimal.

Husso, whose save percentage last season was below Gibson's and who is having a noticeably worse season than Gibson now, isn't an Anaheim target and Timmins is superfluous in light of the existence of Drysdale, Helleson, Luneau and a couple of bruising veterans currently on the roster. This isn't a remotely interesting package to the Ducks for their starting goalie for the next couple of years.

Gibson has more term so that has to be included here. To me, that's a negative. You may have a different opinion.
