Leafs need to get something done so they aren't trotting out minor leaguers all over the ice. Zadorov is a piece they are missing. Abruzzese was the center for Coronato in college so its probably worth the gamble and with the Leafs retaining on Klingberg, Calgary can flip him later and retain again. As bad as Klingberg has been, someone will 100% give something up for Klingberg at less than 2 million for 2 months.

Flames hang up. That's not enough to dump Klingberg far less get anything in return.

Klingberg has statistically been one of the worst defensemen in the league. You are better off using a traffic cone on a string than put him out there. He has ZERO trade value!!
