This is assuming Ottawa isn't making the playoffs = no need for them to keep Tarasenko. Mika has been wholly ineffective at 5v5 but likely still has gas in the tank, at 50% retained he can help the Sens with a playoff hunt in coming years and bring good veteran leadership. We can then start to replenish our center depth and get younger with Pinto. Kakko can be a good middle six guy for them, don't think he is handling the bright lights well but a change of scenery might do him good

I see you're still on the "Trade Zibanejad" train? Yeah, good luck with that. 🙄

Is Chytil still the better player? 🤭

Yes. Absolutely. He was lighting it up before he got hurt and Zibanejad basically only has PP points

LOL chytil as 1C when he’s extremely injury prone. Also Trocheck > Chytil. When everyone is healthy, your boyfriend chytil is going back down to 3C

Maybe Pinto can be 1C in this trade and Chytil is 2C then. Chytil is the 1C of the future whether you like it or not. Trochek is going to be gone the second his NMC turns into M-NTC (2025) if not earlier. You heard it here first. If Chytil gets demoted to 3C that's just proof of a poor coaching decision because he looked fantastic with Panarin and Laf and you don't develop a player by stapling them on the third line when they've proven they can hack it on better lines. But I bet you also think Blake Wheeler as RW1 is a smart choice

Lol definitely not if trocheck keeps out-performing chytil. Chytil is a walking bandaid and at this rate I don’t feel bad for him. Yea chytil looked good with Panarin and Laffy, but guess what? Trocheck looks better lmao he has the goals and points to back it up. Chytil has no value outside of 5v5 lol

Wheeler was fine as 3RW and Kakko as RW1. Mika is snakebitten right now and even Lavi said so too lol

Also I wonder what you said about Zibanejad's concussion history back in the day. You clearly think he turned out fine. So what's different about Chytil? He only missed 8 games last year. That's not bad at all. And he's not even on LTIR like Fox is right now. This pseudo by week and more rest will do him good.

In fact I'll look forward to it if Chytil goes down to 3C because he'll simply work his way back up to where he belongs. Every time he was sent down to Hartford what did he do? Put his head down and worked hard. Unlike someone like Kravtsov who complained and ran back home to Russia. Chytil is a humble guy and will earn the time. He already did once. That's the great thing about being a Chytil fan. It'll be fantastic to see him tearing it up against even lower-end opponents.

You're weird for being happy that Chytil is hurt so you can have a talking point on Cap Friendly. Lol. That's your 1C of the future whether you like it or not. Imagine hating on a player who's done nothing wrong

"No value outside of 5v5" is possibly the dumbest thing I've ever read. 5v5 is the majority of a hockey game. What are you even talking about

Mika never had a concussion injury or history? Lol he only broke his leg

Until chytil stays healthy for once and plays PP/PK, he’ll never be a true #1 center. Right now Lavi’s favorite player is trocheck and Panarin, hands down

The things you say make little to no sense. Outperforming Chytil? Obviously he's outperforming him since Trochek is actually on the ice while Chytil is watching at home. Before Chytil got hurt he looked 10x better than both Zibanejad and Trochek. That's like me saying that Trochek is out performing ACGM user Rags21.

Lmaoooooo major part of hockey? Do you forget about powerplays and penalty kills? Ya know what chytil rarely plays on both

I never root for an injury but chytil is made of glass. It’s obvious

Zibanejad had SEVERAL concussions when he was around Chytil's age so you truly have no idea what you're talking about. He's had at least 5. Including one that took him out for three weeks. That was during the AV years. Clearly you have nothing to say about that because you probably were too young to be a Ranger fan at the time. But yes, Chytil must be made of glass and it's all his fault and no need to feel bad for him but it was OK when Zibanejad had the same problems

So was Zibanejad made of glass with his 5+ concussions when he was Chytil's age and a broken leg also? What's the difference?

If both teams both get 4 power plays, meaning 8 total power plays in a game which is considered a LOT, that's a total of 16 PP mins. A hockey game is a full 60 mins. So yes 5v5 is the majority of the time. I didn't say that PP and PK are irrelevant but they aren't the MAJORITY of a hockey game which is why it's nonsensical for you to act like Chytil's 5v5 value means nothing.

It's so funny that you can't address my valid points. Why is Chytil considered to be made of glass but Zibanejad (with even worse concussion history) isn't? Zibanejad grew out of his injury-proneness, why can't Chytil? What did you have to say about Zibanejad back then when he was getting concussed 5+ times and had a broken leg?

NYR & Zib say no thanks. You'll remember Zib when he ends up with 40g & 50a and being the same responsible 1c. Chytil will be a 2c tops.

As much as I love Zibanejad, I'm not doing this

Uh wait... 50% retention? Well, can't turn it down with that retention...
