Love Konecny I just don’t see him as a need. That aside trade looks fair. Stars might wanna hold onto Kyrou just because they don’t have much org depth at that position. Gotta give to get tho

Biggest red flag on that Konecny trade isn't the value or even the fit. I love the idea of Konecny in Dallas and would be willing to part with a 1st and a guy like Kyrou for him. The biggest question mark around the whole thing is Ryan Suter and whether he'd waive his NMC.

If Philly is still sitting near the top of their division then I think the chances are definitely better than he'd be willing to move, but if that's the case I also don't see Philly trading away a guy like Konecny.

Love the value and the idea, but Suter likely throws a wrench in the plan.
