guise, please montreal will not. WILL NOT retain for multiple years. its the last retention slot. they plan on using it to garner several more assets. not unsalted peanuts.

They did it for Petry. If retaining help you get Bourgault, Mtl will retain for a French prospect.

Plus, at the TDL, Monahan and Pearson will not need retention to be dealt. Next year the Edmunson spot will be available. Not an issue with caping the retention spots with Allen.

It could be argue that with retention and Evans, the value could be more, but in the end, it would maybe change the 3rd for a 2nd, or EDM will just argue that Foeggele isn't a huge negative value, just flip him again.
