Wow there is a lot to unpack here.

1st) The rangers are going to lock up Gus. Even if he walked he would be looking for way more than league min.
2nd) Samsonov is not going to win you a cup, need to move him and address goaltending.
3rd) 4 guys are making near half of your salary cap.
4th) Bert will be getting a raise next season, I would assume he realizes his value.
5th) A 21 man roster is not going to sustain itself.
6th) Domi will most likely want more term and job security.
7th) You are slightly underpaying your RFAs

Samsonov isn’t getting a raise and isn’t coming back grossly overpaid tanev he’d probably take 3M and a little light on lily at least 500k if not 1M

Bring black Bodie; he & Tanev sign (hometown discounts) for $2.5-3M ea. gotta hope one or both of Minten & Cowan make the team next year, which is when cap crunch will be worst. Samsonov either plays great and demands / deserves a raise (he walks) or he never recovers his form (he walks). I think we sign a vet FA for $2-2.5M to share crease with Woll

3) 16 teams in the NHL are over the cap of 32 teams. I take the Leafs forwards over ever other NHL team over the salary cap.
4) Bert as a 20 goal 50-60 pt guy will not be expensive on a 5-8 year deal. Lots of comparisons out there. example Hyman, Dadonov, Barbashev
5) this 21 man roster is top 5 in the NHL in wins and points.
6) Domi will sign for less and long term he never wants to play for another team again.
7) NOT at all. I gave everyone a raise. MOST dont even deserve it. But i still gave raises.
