Knyzhov is a solid defensemen that's stuck in a logjam of LD in San Jose, yet can play both sides of the ice. He's young at 24 years old and doesn't carry a high cap hit whatsoever in comparison to his play. This helps the Flyers with adding a young defensemen to replace their aging UFAs.

The only other defenseman i can see being traded is MacDonald even though he's playing 4th line minutes. The rest are on multi-year contracts that I don't see being moved. I'd keep all young defensemen like Addison, Emberson, and Okhotiuk.
