Flames fans hate this, but two players who will not re sign for a couple younger, more mobile players and picks... CGY would need to go get a blueliner... maybe Dumba out of ARZ with those picks?

Leafs will not be moving Lily and a 1st for rentals, one or the other I would think unless an extension(s) is in place...trade the 2024 1st, replace Lily with Timmins, but then replace Abruzzese with a better prospect and improve the mid-round draft picks and the package might get somewhere.

I think the flames are better off trading them in seperate deals however, to maximize their return, but I do like the idea of getting two of their D if the package is reasonable. However, I think getting two in the same deal will take an overpayment, but you never know with deadline deals.

Leafs decline again and again and again lily is not getting moved for these players and if he is we add klingberg in and 2 3rds to get zadorov not a first Jesus lol

If CGY was to do this(I think they should) they WOULD NOT be trading for replacements. They have Solovyov and Poirier that should get a chance to play.
