No, Edmonton send a 2nd round pick to MTL for Kulak, and Montreal drafted Hutson with this 2nd round pick.

Market value was fair for Kulak at the time. Mistake was made at the draft by all the teams that passed on Hutson due to his size, not Edmonton for making this deal well before the draft.
