Wow really? I would jump on this if I'm St Louis, especially if picks are unprotected

Thomas is a young lower end 1C right now with the potential to be more. The blues see him as a crucial part of our rebuild and he is signed for 8 years. Sillinger and Johnston are young and have potential but haven't shown a lot yet. The picks could be high or if we trade them Thomas the Bluejackets could start winning and those picks are no worth a lot less. Why would the blues trade Thomas though? If we trade him might as well get rid of Kyrou, Buchnevich, Saad, Schenn, Parayko, Faulk etc...... Why should we take the risk of trading our young 1C who is the biggest part of our core now and 5-6 years from now
