Do the Red Wings play Kostin? How has he looked? Really miss him on the Oilers

If you believe everything you hear Kane isn't signing for a big discount,

Kostin should be playing top 6 minutes. He's a much better player than Fischer (and Ras, for that matter).

I'd be rolling:
Kostin - Larkin - Raymond
Cat - JT - Kane
Fabbri - Veleno - Sprong
Perron - Ras - Fischer

He's looked very good, but is for some odd reason being played with bad players. Hopefully that changes soon.

I really have no idea what kane would sign at money wise. suppose the positive for us either way is we have cap space. I dont see him signing for above, say 4 mil. but at that 1 year. I know Kane is a huge name and commands respect, but stevie doesnt give anyone term/big cash unless theyre proven what we need, Kane just had hip surgery and is a risk at best. he wont get something outrageous

they wouldn't do that to perron. no matter what dude is super consistent and gets his points. I agree Kostin is better than fischer and rass. Not sure why they punish kostin and not rass this year. but i also dont think kostin should be top 6, id like to see him on L3, but guys like Fabbri and Sprong deserve a go at the top line well before Kostin.

I'd be fine with Kostin on the 3rd as well, just get him away from Ras.

That's what happened in Edmonton too, very frustrating. Limited minutes and no PP time, he put up good numbers. Hopefully you guys play him more, because 2mill for less than 10mins a night is a lot.
