Seattle has a lot of expiring contracts after this season. Beniers is only 21, and they're going to try and see what Wright looks like in the league. That will allow them to continue drafting and adding to the cupboard while being aggressive in free agency.

Firkus is having a great season and could be up next year possibly.

I think they pass on this, it's not worth the assets. I don't see them legit contending for a cup this season or next.

I should trade Marner to the Oilers like you did for Hyman and Ekholm - that seems a lot more realistic. Overall. Maybe Marner could make a save every now and then to help them.
