Loved the targets until you traded Bertuzzi for Trenin. You could have got him for Jarnkrok. Love to have Trenin but not for Bertuzzi

Honestly, I haven't been that impressed with him as I had thought I would be. Robertson (while healthy) is proving to have a similar style and I think could put up as many or more points on a second line.

Trenin would be a great addition to the third line with Domi and Jankrok who seem to have good chemistry already. Jankrok is also more diverse in terms of being defensive and capable of putting a few in the back of the net up and down the lineup and on special teams. Plus the lower cap hit and longer term is the reason for Bert being moved over Jankrok.

Would you say it's a NO due to the style of players they are giving up in Kolesar and Cottle or it's too many of their main roster players to justify getting Willy?

Kinger, I don’t get why as a Leafs fan, you don’t want to move one of the big 4? It’s gonna be almost 50M if we kept them all, leaving 30+M for the rest of the team. We will never go far in playoffs if we don’t start spending money on Quality D and goaltending.

I think Bert has been playing much better. Complimented Tavares and Nylander well until they changed the lines. I don’t think Robertson is similar at all. Bertuzzi is gritty and bangs in the corners and gets in front of the net. Robertson is dangerous in open ice with a good speed and shot. These are the guys (Bertuzzi) that come through in playoffs, I think you change your mind once they play for keeps.

I think especially Karlsson and Kolesar given they were so important in the cup win....so ya 3 guys off the roster...but I like who you pick for the Leafs, all 3 are needed...BUT i would rather give up Marner than Willy
