They would probably want some young roster players. I think Torts would want Kakko, so if you're basing this off of the Meier trade but lower value, maybe just start with replacing the 1st+Mukhamadullin with Kakko. I think it would be close to a one-for-one.

I don't think they are trying to move him just because Torts benched him. If to trade Kakko plus we still have a cap issue after that.

Just regular torts bull****, Briere is listening on everyone, but Farabee’s cost is probably outside the range most would be comfortable paying

He's sooner with SJ with his former college coach, David Quinn, than with NYR. Btw, Quinn, Torts and Lavi are from the same school of coaching.

The cap makes this difficult without disrupting chemistry.
