I don't know what kind of gotcha you think this is.

NJD also has 2 games in hand and more wins than MTL. The problem has been a lack of goaltending

Siegs plays top pairing, getting top pairing assignments, which he handles to the tune of 55% xGoals share 5v5.

He also showed he has been able to handle those top pairing assignments each of the last two years, including being the 1LD on a contender last year. Slower start this year tho.

If you wanted to try and make a gotcha involving NJD it would at least be Bahl (who I have valued here at a 2nd).

Was fantastic in a sheltered role last year, but has struggled in a much tougher role this year.

He however has the size and draft pedigree that make him a much more attractive asset than the 5'11 harris.

Both reasonable prices.

A late 1st 1 year away, a 3rd 1 year away, and Lysell. Unless I'm significantly underrating Lysell, this is still less than Horvat got, and the center market is THIN.

Lose siize and length for no reason no thanks. Your over paying on tanev and hanifin with those deal.
