You probably have cap problems because you buried almost 5 million.

You also have no picks so once this team doesn't win the cup for at least the next three years you will have very low rated drafts. But hey, the caps are a team that likes building through Free Agency so who am I to talk

Well, Orpik is pretty much untradeable, and burying him in the minors + getting Dahlbeck is actually cheaper than just playing him. Still, I certainly hope the Caps are no longer in win-now mode. At least in this case they'd have all their 1st-rounders, but it's up to the Caps fans as to whether giving up these 2nd rounders is worth it.
