    this definitely does not get us any closer to the playoffs. If anything, it moves us in the opposite direction.

    WPG just signed mason and said they are not looking for another goalie. WSH is not getting rid of Grubby because if they wanted to, they would have made Vegas take him and keep Schmidt.

    It is labeled, "we need playoffs" and you trade assets for picks...that normally means rebuild not playoffs
