NSH declines. A 4th isn't enough for Trenin and NSH's last retention spot, and the Preds have no use of, or room for Aho.

Aho is just for a contract swap, Trenin is a b6 winger on an expiring deal where he'll be a UFA this summer. A top 4 dman just got moved for a 3rd and future 5th I think people severely overvalue their players on this website.

If there's no retention, and NSH doesn't have to take a defenceman they don't have room for back, a 4th might get it done. I wouldn't be surprised if NSH could do a little better than that though. Trenin's the ideal physical playoff warrior type GMs tend to covet. He's been showing up in a lot of proposals from multiple teams here, if that's any indication that there could be league wide interest in him, from contenders. Maybe TBL will overpay for him, so they can recreate the chemistry he had with Jeannot
