I think Washington says you greatly over value your players and no way we are accepting that.
Philadelphia says you are greatly undervaluing our players and no way we are accepting that.

Fair enough I thought Mantha + 3rd for Garland at 4m was fair. And Lapierre,Allen, & 2nd for Kuzmenko was fair. While Kuzmenko is snake bit he still has 15 pts in 23 games once he gets a hot streak he will be back closer to his ppg. I mostly did the picks cause I didnt think Washington would want to move their 1st this year.

I do agree Kuzmenko is a good player. I think people don't realize he was shooting at a ridiculous 28.3% last year. I just don't think Washington is in a position to really be buyers but they aren't really selling either. Unless they are okay with going into a full rebuild when Ovechkin retires. I did miss the retention on Garland though to be honest. Thinking more about it is probably not that far off if Washington wants to be buying.

Oh he his shooting percentage was great but I'd say 8-10 of his goals were when he was positioned to the side of the net and hit with a quick cross ice pass from Petterson. Teams this year have been taking it away. And he is more of a pass first player it's also why I think him on Ovechkins wing he might help him getting more goals and maybe settles into a 20ish goal scorer with 50-60 assists. I think last year having Hughes and Petterson over inflated Kuzmenko's goals total (Plus Boeser having one of his worst years)

I like both Garland and Kuzmenko, I think the caps would need Kuznetsov going back the other way though to make the money for future seasons. Value needs to be tweaked a bit but I don't think it's out of this world. There's a basis for a trade there.

Kuznetsov, Lapierre, 2025 second for

Kuzmenko, Garland

I don't know that Kuznetsov has any value at this point so it's more of a money thing.
