Change Lindgren to Schneider, take away a 1st and add Goodrow for $$, maybe something goes in from the Leafs end as well. Work better?

Yeah of course that is better. It is not that Nylander isn't worth it. It is basically the price of half a year Nylander. That is the issue, because resigning him seems impossible (can't pay 11 m for another forward). And think they be able to put a team together.

I hear that. It would have to be a sign and trade type of situation and they rarely happen.
Removing the Canada tax would bring his number down as well. I'm guessing he'd get 9.5 south of the border, but who knows

Yeah, but NYC isn't exactly low tax area either. But I don't know... I live the now, if they trade for Nylander I won't be upset or anything. He is offensively very gifted. I'm not the GM pretty much.
