massive over pay for a 6/7 LHD unless you meant to trade for sean walker and not nick seeler who isn't even as good as vinny D and I don't think Nashville accepts that

Seeler has been playing top 4 minutes quite successfully with the Flyers and is making league min. Between him and Ekholm one of them can play their offside as both are more than comfortable. And of course NSH says yes to that deal lol, give me a break.

Nashville already has too many dmen so taking 2 is less than ideal. Then Broberg's development has been so jumbled by Edmonton by not doing the right thing and simply giving him big minutes in the AHL that Spencer Stastney on our development pipeline is more NHL ready and Broberg is no longer waiver exempt next year forcing the team to either risk him to waivers or continue to screw up his development in the same manner than edmonton has. The other picks are nice and honestly the overall value is overkill. Ive just lost interest in Broberg at this point and Ceci is just wasted capspace

I'd pass on this NSH deal.

Yeah, without the roster space/waiver flexibility to try and rebuild Broberg, he doesn't have any value to NSH. Unless he gets Nolan Patrick'd, and Trotz has a buyer already lined up for him before this deal is finalized.

Even with Saros, EDM is still random chaos that isn't guaranteed to be a playoff team. Those two unprotected 1sts could both wind up being lottery picks. It's a role of the dice, but can any other team that's trying to contend offer NSH prospects or draft picks with the potential to be as high end as 1sts from the Oilers?
