Description
At least we can pretty much guarantee zadorov isn’t gonna be a leaf next year

Okay so I’ve signed Reimer to a 1 year deal I think hildeby should borderline be given a shot this year but we’ll give him 1 more year to develop but hopefully they bring him up to play a couple games maybe 3

Get Reilly a full time d partner for the foreseeable future

Hold onto our first for this year draft Charlie Elick a big right handed d

Let’s sign nylander today

This is the max I would pay for pulock doesn’t make any sense to add any more

Follow this plan brad

Janrkrok can go to any team, anyways I think this team is the ticket to the Stanley cup

Sorry I put my notes on your prior Walker thread.

      1. Not sure you'll get 2 3rds for Jarnkrot, hes older and always been a 25-35 pt scorer and wont produce outside of TOR's top 6 in that 40pt range, also has become a bit of a journeyman and alot of teams that want his skillset wont part with 2 3rds for a guy his age at that cap hit. Its also down to contenders who'll want that type of player. A 3rd and 5th seem more likely. 2 3rds isnt outside the realm of possibility, but a veteran bottom 6 forward still signed at 2.1 probably doesn;t get 2 3rds IMO, (similar to Acciari last year IMO).
      2. I cant see Isles wanting to wait THREE drafts for that 1st. Liljegren being injured and in a contract year (6th pro season) is not quite established himself enough which hurts value and niemala is a good prospect, I like the trade, but think that it has to be 2024 1st for NYI.

I’ve seen him go on here for a second and I’ve had to say sorry he brings a lot for his 2.1M dollar contract he was 20 goals and half a point per game last year and he’s on pace to do the same this year he’s worth 2 3rds all day long at 2.1M

Maybe, I just dont think based on his long career that hes a 20 goal scorer or a 40 pt guy anywhere but TOR, and theres not a huge market for his cap hit/length/type of player, hes getting some minutes in TOR top 6 (their top offensive top 6) that hes never gotten elsewhere or will get from a contending team elsewhere IMO.

But we are in a world where Sean Walker is worth worth 2 3rds and 2 5ths

He only has 2 seasons left at 2.1 then he’s gonna want a raise to 3 can’t see that scaring anyone away and he’s played on the top line he’s the most versatile player there is 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th line put him anywhere he’s gonna produce

I just dont know who is going to give up 2 3rds for him, maybe a 2nd or maybe a 3rd and 5th, but most buyers at TDL are contenders looking for a top 6 guy as an upgrade or wanting depth in bottom 6 and Jarnkrot is kind of in the middle of that.

I've always liked him, but theres a reason that at 32, hes finally gotten to 40 pts, that reason is TOR and his playing time in the top 6. He is a 25-35 pt guy on the other 3 teams hes been with. I just think counting on him to get 2 3rds, you would need to really identify WHO would pay that or put him in the other trade. FLA has Stenlund, Cousins, Lorentz as bottom vet guys who play 3rd/4th line, I just cant see them (lacking 1sts and 2nds) giving 2 3rds.

I could see him in TB, hes a versatile 2 way guy they would like and certainly they might be more apt to move 2 3rds, but they couldn;t afford his cap hit

The "Nylander for 10 mil" ship sailed a while ago. If that's the best Toronto can offer than he'll go to any of Anaheim/Chicago/Vegas/Arizona that can offer him an 11.5-12 million dollar contract.

No one is giving him over 11 lol but you keep trying to burn the Toronto ship whatever makes you happy bud, it’s sad honestly but whatever, his ask isn’t going up as the leafs are still holding out at 9 or whatever if the leafs offer him 10 he signs it end of story

That is way too much for Pulock, who last season wasn't any better than Liljegren.
Kinda funny, that so many want to trade Reaves, and then so many come the TDL say the Leafs will need an enforcer for the playoffs. Even if waived to the Marlies, Reaves cap is about 200,000.

You may be right. But let's imagine Leafs have allotted 10m for Nylander but he signs elsewhere, well that just gives the Leafs 10m to spend on other player(s). It's not like the Leafs lose Nylander and not have replacement player(s)
