this is brutal for Philly. If they are on a playoff spot they could maybe soft buy (mid picks for depth) but thats all id do

It really doesnt. You dont speed up rebuilds mid season. Their window is in 3-4 years when Gauthier is in the final years of his ELC, Michkov just came over and all of their prospects are up, plus their core is still below 30. Their "window" isnt with Ristolainen under contract

That's not how to speed up a rebuilt.

Speet up a rebuilt pass with somes trades for other young players from other teams. One of the best example about it is the Canadiens, they traded somes draft picks and somes legit young players for other young players (Dach and Newhook).

What's your point of it ? Both have the right to be injured, both have the same age than Cam York and both haved sign the longest bridge-deal possible that can end with a re-signing situation as a RFA.

Bobby brink is part of the flyers future and by trading him and a 1st for lindholm does not speed up the rebuid at all. I agree if were gonna be in a playoff spot by the deadline we're probably just trade for depth players but anything could happen.

Brink would be nothing more then a 3rd liner here... Michkov, Tippet, Farabee, Konecny, Tyson, Cutter even are all ahead of him

Nah, speeds up the rebuild,

Trading a young player and a 1st for a guy in his 30's for one more year does not speed up a rebuild.

He's a 22 year old rookie obviously now he's playing 3rd line minutes. He's having a solid season so far and he's only gonna get better and with a lot of experience he's gonna play top 6 minutes

DumbHockeyTrades makes a dumb proposal and then defends it?

Making the playoffs is meaningless if they want to build a contender

I'm rather having Caufield or Dach over York.

And we don't need York, because we already have somes better options than him with Guhle, Reinbacher and Huston.
