Sharks decline but leafs will always trade a 3rd before timmins who honestly I would value at a 2nd now he’s playing great why would we send him out? We need to add 1 defender not take one out and add one makes no sense and leafs don’t pay Willy more then 10 and minten and Cowan make the team next year they almost made it this year lol

I don’t know about this trade.
But why would the Leafs trade away their young players?
Why can’t they trade a draft pick for Mario Ferraro?
Would that make sense?

I just don't see the advantage of having Ferraro over Timmins. Timmins is playing well at a necessary position RHD...Just keep McCabe at left side and save 2.1m in cap.
Is Dumba worth that contact now?
