Pionk isn’t the type of dman the Canucks need. He’s awful defensively, we don’t need another 6M dman who’s a defensive liability

Kuzmenko despite being scratched a couple times is still a strong offensive player, and was solid defensively last season but has struggled there this season

Can't see Vancouver parting with a 1st for that return.

Doesn't seem like a trade that'd be on interest to Seattle.

Winnipeg has players that are better than Kuzmenko.

No way Canucks give up a first to get off Kuzmenko. This management group doesn't trade high draft picks to get off contracts. They are willing to move middle round and late round picks sure but not 1st rounders. Rutherford has already come out and said that this teams first round pick isn't in play this year. Canucks decline.
