I know Lavi won't do this but I like the 4th line they have now with Vesey/Goody/Pitlik better than with Bonino.

Pretty sure both Trotch and Zbad are greatly out performing Chytll even before he was hurt. So do you propose that they move him to wing?

When everyone is healthy who would you scratch? Pitlik is sadly the odd man out…

No, I completely agree with you about Chytil being 3C if and when he returns. But there is one so called Ranger fan that posts here that won't like it much. Chytil is the next Gretzky to him.

Probably right, I'm just saying I like how our current 4th line is playing better than Vesey/Bonino/Goodrow line at the start of the year. Pitlik hustles his a off and brings physicality that Bonino does not provide.

I know the fan you were talking about. This is probably the only thing I have ever seen eye to eye with him on. And it’s not because I think Chytil is a god like he does. Hear me out

Chytil is bad at faceoffs, they will shelter him as much as possible by taking Ozone faceoffs. They will pair him with bread and Laf for the offensive attacks. Meanwhile troch is so good 2ways and at the dot. Put him at 3C with cuyle and Kakko and they will focus Dzone faceoffs. It won’t be about who is better, but who is best for which role. Line 2 will jump on on-the-fly as much as possible while the 1st, 3rd, 4th will take most faceoffs. This is how the season started and how I think they finish when healthy

My argument isn't what Lavi will do when he is healthy, it's who is a better 2C, and clearly that is Trocheck. I like Chytil a lot but he doesn't deserve 2nd line minutes with bread and Laffy if he's going to put up ZERO goals and only 6 assists in 10 games. Missed grade A scoring chances don't win games, scoring goals does. Chytil has missed 20 games and Kakko has been how many, but have they been winning less with Trocheck at 2C and Bonino at 3C? Nope, and one reason is the 2nd line is more productive with Trocheck at center. Really not my opinion, it's just obvious. I would love to see Chytil come back healthy and start filling the net with goals, because if he did, your assessment would be spot on and they would be a very hard team to beat. But I have to see it happen first. He has to actually start scoring more than Jonny Brodzinski before he deserves 2nd line minutes in my opinion.
