I like Barabanov but he's a $2.5M winger with 1 G and 4 A. That's a huge overpayment.

Where’s Joshua in the lineup?
Does Vancouver have enough cap space to afford a guy like Barabonov, and why would they give away their prospect players for that player?
I don’t know about the second trade.
Is Bemstrom that good?
Haven’t seen much of his game.

The only holdup for Columbus is the retention. If you really need $450k retained, that's fine, I don't think we'll use all three retention slots this year. But...why?
