I would accept this trade very quickly from the Leafs side of things.

Calgary does not though.

Calgary declines. A late 1st isn't enough for Tanev alone. It costs a fair bit extra to take Reaves in return too. Washed up Reaves has 2 more years left on his contract after this season is over. At least a 1st + 3rd for Tanev and add a decent prospect to take Reaves too. A 2nd would work to take Reaves except Toronto doesn't have any 2nds in the next few years.
