1st, 2nd, 3rd is probably enough as is. Jones and Korczak is overkill adding both. 1 of them as a sweetener would do. Horvat and Meier were on pace for 50 goals last year. Horvat got a mid 1st, a mid 1st prospect who doesn’t look like he’s going to be anything special, and beau who’s now a cap dump. Personally I wouldn’t go after Lind myself, we need a 3C if Chytil is done. I’m looking at Kevin Hayes for a low pick.

Well ok, but it isn't 1st, 2nd and 3rd though, the Rangers get a likely better 3rd back plus Gilbert who cancels out one of the prospects.
So it essentially is 50% retained Lindholm for a probably late 2025 1st, 2nd and two prospects who don't look like much now. That feels meager to me.
Going after Hayes is an interesting thought, would be alot cheaper and likely a good idea. I'd like Hayes on the Rangers again(?).

He has term, as a 3C it’s an excellent contract. I think he needs to be in a good room and PHI wasn’t that last year, STL doesn’t seem so great with the kyrou turmoil. NYR is looking solid and I think he would come in hot for a chance like this. The splashy UFA rentals never work
