Description

Colorado probably wants someone younger with good potential. Hayes has higher trade value from what I hear. This is a HUGE upgrade for the Rangers down the middle (Duc has won 62% of his draws last season). The contract is a little difficult though since the Rangers may want to sign MCD, Zuccarello, Buchnevich, and DeAngelo the year his contract is up but this is a win now so to speak approach and who knows if Zuccarello or McDonough get a pay raise. I say they do it and worry about thing later. Its not a huge nightmare to deal with in 2 years. Plus Nash's contract is up and there could be cap from that left over to sign everybody back.

James Dolan owns the Rangers and MSG. I can tell you that 6 million is nothing to him and he would not care as long as the team sells out, which there is no doubt they will at MSG.

Fast out a month, need cap space for a 13th F. Also, they need to find out if Beregzelov will play in the AHL because his contract has an opt out clause back to Russia and his rights can be lost.
