Why is the price so high on Parayko? Future 2C Future top 6 D and a 1st can’t get it done? Damn

If we trade Parayko we’re going to have to turn right around and replace him. Which will not be easy at all.

We don’t need forward prospects and I’m skeptical that Minten will be a top 6 forward in the future but definitely an NHLer.

Counting on Minten to be a future 2c WILD. I don’t even count on Dalibor Dvorsky to be that for the Blues.

Setting aside that you've overrated your prospects and magically erased the Samsonov dump, I'm not even remotely interested in trading Parayko. He's not available. Period.

And even if he was open for offers, yours is just bad. A late 1st, a cap dump that eats at least half the value of that late 1st, a solid 3C prospect and yet another B- D prospect is not at all competitive as a Parayko offer. It's exactly nothing they need, plus a dump at a position they have no use for the guy at all. For a unicorn 1RD locked down at a reasonable rate who is currently playing perhaps his best hockey yet, who the Blues have no replacement for anywhere in the organization. And you think we're being unreasonable???

I like him and am really excited for him, but I’m not putting all my eggs in that basket.

Dvorsky has looked really good. But I think it’s often to
Times we overlook how hard it is to be a truly competitive top 6 forward in the NHL nonetheless a center.

There is one thing I’m sure of though in these past few drafts. We certainly have internal fixes for our powerplay. Snuggy may already be capable of being an elite one time presence on a powerplay at the NHL level.

And there’s not much denying Dvorskys shot.

I didn’t say you were being unreasonable I just didn’t realize the blues valued Parayko that much.

Cool. They do. He's arguably the second most unavailable Blues player right now. It's actually a shame nobody in the big hockey media centers (media members and fans) seems to notice how well he's playing.

No in Brodie to Oilers. He’s declined and is trash now.

Besides if Brodie doesn’t help the Leaf’s D, how could you possibly think he would help the Oilers D? Especially consider that the Oilers D is better than the Leaf’s.
