Description

I think something like this is realistic for next year. Still 3 million left but could be under on tanev and Brodies deals. Might be 4 million for them so it would still fit.
Bertuzzi I think has fit in well and more points will come so I’d give him a long term deal to keep it at 5.5. If not him probably try to bring in a FA for one year at 5-6 million and leave the money open for the next off season.
This is all about keeping things flexible for when JTs deal ends and try to make bigger improvements then.
Not sure if this roster can win a cup this season or next but I think it’s just about what they will have to do with the space they have

Scary 3rd line. Don’t think Robertson has a spot on this team, I think he needs to go to a rebuilding team to get some looks on top lines and PP. would rather see McMann there myself and would love to see Steeves soon. Hasn’t played a game yet. Gonna cost is more for Tanev and I think you need a 3C like a Monoghan for example or even bring Domi back

I agree with this too. He is looking slow and getting bumped off pucks. That money could be used elsewhere

Brodie definitely walks. I’m okay with signing jones but two years? He’s pretty old. If they sign him it would be for one year and then they could resign him again if they wanted. I don’t think Minten will be NHL ready either
