Roy and Tanev get more. Too much for Liljegren. Not enough for a retained Laughton.

I don't know what fans fascination with Pool Party is? Former high draft pick? 🙄

He is good defensively and still with potential to start scoring goals/points...

CBJ say no on account of Timmins likely being 6th on our NHL RD depth chart.

Liljegren has the lowest G/60 of any Leaf the last few years and top 10 for GA/60 for all dmen 1000+ minutes in same time frame. Has a 56% xG share and a better xGF rel since 2020 than Heiskanen. You can argue quality of competition sure, but he is dominating his minutes. Still has potential to be a top pair dman and is practically a shoe in to be an anchor on a second pair, he just needs to play. Another bridge deal at ~3 million and letting him explode would be a mistake

Roy easily gets more, but hey, optimism; Tanev might take less than he should but who knows, again optimism

No. Liljegren hasn't done anything to deserve 4.5 mil AAV. Signing him to that is just foolish.
