If playoffs go south again, I could see this as a possibility. Still doubt Marner would waive but maybe if the heat gets turned up in the summer and of all teams the Pens - with Dubas & Sid - might get ‘er done. Replace Niemela with Timmins. Hope it doesn’t happen but creative trade idea 👍

The rebuild isn’t coming next year unless this team falls off a cliff from here on out. I am not saying it’s anywhere near a Johnny G situation but IF he wants to test free agency and he cares about the money then Toronto is in a tough spot. No one seems to want a hometown discount. Tavares sure didn’t take one.
