I don't think that the RW have the RW prospect we'd be looking for in a trade for Adam Henrique, especially with 50% retention and the pick being in 2025. We have more than enough quality and quantity in the left-handed-forward pipeline. Our second choice would be a RhD or G prospect, and aside from Sebastian Cossa, you don't have one of those who would interest us, either.

Detroit passes, We've zero need for Adam Henrique. And we don't need retention on him as we currently have $13,000,000 in cap space.

And it makes no sense to add Henrique and trade Gostisbehere if we're looking to add a player at the deadline.

Trey Augustine is better than Cossa, but aiight haha. Best I can do is swap the 2nd in 25 for 24. henrique wont re-sign so take what you can get

henrique plays fantastic in the defensive zone which the wings severely lack in lol. Have you seen them try to get the puck out? Ducks retain so they can still meet the floor for cap

Flyers won't be giving up picks for players, still rebuilding, they also have tons of depth on wing

Why would the Wings 1) be trading away Ghost and 2) be giving up 2nds for expiring UFAs, if they were trying to add at the deadline?

Henrique doesn't suddenly turn them into a legit contender, especially if you give up Ghost AND Fabbri.

This....the FO has said as much. Decent chance they are sellers even if they are in a playoff spot.
