A #3C who turns 29 on Friday and would have to compete for that spot with Isac Lundestrom, a 6/7 defenseman of no particular distinction except inexperience, and a first-round draft pick offset to some extent by pick #65.

For the guy you're going to play with John Travares and Mitch Marner (because there's no chance that you're actually trading MM).

What takes this from merely humorously absurd to the realm of moronically hilarious is the retention.

That Zegras trade is ridiculous, the Ducks get nothing of value back except for a late 1st and they retain 1.75m on Zegras for the next 3 seasons? lmao
