Alex DeBrincat isn't going to be a healthy scratch he's gonna get a chance to play in the top 6 opening night. Every hawks prospect has gotten a shot on a top 6 line. Look at Saad, Teravainen, Motte, Schmaltz, Hayden. They all played at least a game in the top 6 in their rookie seasons. Q isn't going to bench a consistently 50+ goal scorer even if it was in junior.

Wrong. DeBrincat is NOT starting out in the lineup at the beginning of the season. Will he play at some point, yes, but not to start the season. They are going to watch how he does in the AHL first. He needs to get acclimated to the size and speed of the pros and Alex is slow and small, he's like Teräväinen

Hawks weak up the middle. Kero is slow and not a 3c. Schmaltz too small. How's Le Dauphen size and speed?
