Description

Gm in Montreal is desparate to win now. Take MTL roster right now and add up all players goal totals from last year. Even with the best goalie in the world and a solid group of defensive dmen the habs are goinf ti have trouble winning games due to the lack of scoring. They will need 4 or 5 guys to have career years which can happen but its more likley that it wont happen and maybe 1 or 2 guys have career years. They need scoring in the worst way even if its a short term solution

Its clear vancouver isnt going to win soon or even trying to win soon. It is time to move on from the Sedins and let them play an important role on a team that is trying win now.

I think that's definitely something the Canucks brass should at least ask the twins about. As far as the return I think if you sub out Fucale and put in a forward or D prospect instead Van would be more intrigued.

But that was last year. They've made it very clear that Vancouver is home for them, but they might be convinced to go to a contender for one playoff run now that their contracts are expiring. The team should at least ask them at that point in the year.
