That sj trade is flat out bad for TB, and the combination is awful . They trade away their best player at their weakest position to add to their strongest ? Moving Sergachev to the right is a bad idea he isn't nearly as effective. TB has had more problems keeping pucks out of the net and has been really good scoring so trade away a Selke caliber 2C and get a slightly better much older one way winger F***ING BRILLIANT!!! NOT!!!

Which is why I think getting a star veteran dman makes sense for them to continue the rebuild.
Honestly think they wouldn’t give up as many picks but maybe including someone Mario Ferraro instead of the picks and Tampa adding Cirelli would make it workout well for both.

Yeah maybe went a bit overboard on the picks. Wasn’t sure how much to value getting Cernak properly.

Cirelli is not producing enough to justify his contract. Assuming Blashill is gone most of our defensive issues get resolved. Tampa has to move valued pieces of they want to get reasonable depth.
