Description
Dont care about the value as im not to sure what it would be. More so just seeing how these guys would fit on the team. Kuz or Garland could be used as a Teuvo replacement if he doesnt resign next year (might be worth moving on from Turbo). Kuz adds another Russian that Svech can be buds with. Getting both of these players would make it tough for money next year, thats why I was thinking just one of them. Im not for or against trading for these players, just thought id take a look

Tough trade partner just because we’d be looking to improve as well.

So unless we get Necas, Pesce or Skjei back I don’t know if there’s a deal that would work.

Something with Kuzmenko could work but Garland won't be available in season. Potentially in the offseason Garland could be had if we need to create some capspace.

I specifically made the title description because people like to forget it exists, and here I am still telling people to go read the description.

Any tips on how I can get people to read?

Why is Kuz available but not Garland? curious.

Last I remember, the Canucks were looking to move him. Is the fact that they are having a good season, the reason why they wouldnt move him now?

100%

I just remember Van actively trying to move Garland. But Im assuming that was before the season really started.

Garland has really accepted his role this season and is the driver on our 3rd line with Joshua and Blueger which is arguably the best 3rd line in hockey at the moment. Canucks had been trying to move Garland previously but right now he is too important to the teams success this season. Kuzmenko is a very talented player but Tocchet does not trust him and his style of play does not mesh with the teams systems this year now that Tocchet has been able to implement them. I don't think Kuz is a 40 goal scorer like last year but I absolutley believe in a better situation for him he is still a 25-30 goal 60pt player.

Fair enough, we’d definitely move Kuz. Who do you think the canes would realistically give up for him?

Tbh its very unlikely a trade would happen, as Canes would only be willing to give up prospects/picks/bottom 6... Nothing that would really help Vancouver.
