I’d be a little pissed if CHI grabbed Demidov with their 2ND pick

I love this! As a sharks fan the idea of getting Celebrini and Yakemchuk makes me all warm and happy.

It would be a dream draft for the Sharks if they get a RD with one of the picks. And one of Levshunov or Celebrini.

Even next year they can tank and potentially snag Logan Hensler.

Porter Matrone! I know D especially RD is a huge hole but with Embersom stolen from NYR this season, plus Yakemchuk and a big stay home type like Charlie Elick in the 24 2nd would give the sharks a chance to go for BPA rather than need and grab a potential superstar RW power forward!
Eklund Celebrini Matrone
Musty Smith Halttunen
Would be a strong top 6 group of prospects. Especially when you add in vets like Hertl and Zetterlund!

He's 28th on my big board. Solid all around forward but production wise, he's inconsistent. Plus he needs to work on this 4 way agility, I value skating a lot while ranking players.

He falls due to team needs and teams reaching on certain players. I feel like around the 12th to 20th range a team will get a steal.

In this case I feel like Arizona or Chicago would take him. But Parekh is a bigger need than Demidov as I see Geekie as a winger cause his skating is slow for an NHL center.

The blues have a lot of wingers but need D badly.

Martone would be a great option as well.

2025 Draft Tiers the way I see it:

Tier 1:
Hagens

Tier 2:
Hensler

Tier 3:
Ryabkin
Misa
Martone
Spence
Schaefer
Frondell
Moore

I think he will end up going in the top 10, 12 at the latest

Agree here! And Hensler would 100% HAVE to be the choice if he is there, but if not Matrone at 6’3” 205 lbd at 16/17 and has put up numbers comparable to kids drafted last year is hard to ignor. Plus with the bigger players in the west having 2 power forwards like Musty and Matrone to pair with Celebrini Smith and Eklund would give the sharks a little protection so they don’t get cheep shots on those smaller players.

He definitely could fall there, but it would be annoying (I do see Calgary being a team that grabs him here though, since they have no young elite/franchise players other than Wolf)

As good as Demidov is, he doesn't fit that Calgary looks for in a prospect. The Flames value size in their prospects, and I reached on Hemming because he reminds me of Elias Lindholm, who they are thinking of trading. Complete two-way winger, not so dynamic and skilled offensively but defensively is where he shines.

I do see him going around there if many teams in the top 10 doesn't reach with their pick. I have him at 11th on my big board.

I realized I had Emil Hemming twice, Vegas could take a swing at Boisvert. I meant to have Hemming be drafted at 9th.
