I expected Dach to turn things around with the Habs to be honest. But Laf and Kakko have been underwhelming.

If you think that Slafkovsky is a disapoiting player, your completly not see him play and you likely just watch his stats...........................

I can telling you that at the begining of November, but Habs fans are VERY happy by how his progression is going so far. I belive he will gonna finish the season at 35-40 pts and that's what's I expected. Big Europeans players takes 2-3 more years to develop well than a North American player in the same size.......

I’m ok with taking time to adjust. But should have kept him strictly in the AHL for a few years. As well considering some of the players that were available to pick instead it’s hard to justify.

My expectations on him are very realistic.

That's also follows of what St-Louis said on him : '' we don't want that he becomes the best player in the 1st-2nd seasons, we wants that's he becomes the best player in the next 4-5 coming years ''.

Seems likes Gorton and Hughes thinked about this scenario in November for ajust his development, but St-Louis said to not doing that. I think it's a good decision right now.......

But sorry, I think that he is once again the best player available at this Draft. A ''magical'' offensive play by Cooley will not convince me to change my idea.

Probably could have traded down with the Blue Jackets who had been desperate for a centre for the entire existence. Then drafted a Jiricek or Korchinski etc.

But now Montreal have now Reinbacher (who is maybe in the same type of level as Nemec, Jiricek and Korchinski), but they really needed a wingner (Slaf) and they decided to make a massives trades for Dach and Newhook.

But something that I just forgot to mention is that Montreal just maybe drafted the biggest steal of that draft, and it's not even Slaf......... It's Hutson.
