Description

Money is tight and sacrifices have to be made and unfortunately that means letting Montour go.
I feel as though the Forsling and Reinhart deals are relatively fair. Lundell gets a bridge deal, OEL takes a little paycut to stay in South Florida.

Lines look interesting but I feel that Panthers should start moving Lundell into the top 6 to get the most out of him, Samo is a top 6 player and shouldn't be played elsewhere. Second line is a total joker but if they find chemistry it would make Florida's offence so deadly, as the third line would be really strong. Sourdif I'm confident will do fine in a bottom 6 role, idea would be for him to replace Bennett once his deal is up and make the top 3 centers: Barkov, Lundell, Sourdif for long term.

Defence is not the strongest but if Chatfield can blossom in a top 4 role it becomes a lot better. If it doesn't work out and at his best he is a third pairing defenceman just make the second pair Mikkola-OEL...

Lundell get 1.5 no way after this season is he getting more. Reinhart only gets 9 if he wants to stay. And I’d only give oel 2 years.

I mean I'd love to have him for less but if he goes on to score 60 goals and doesn't **** the bed in the playoffs he'll be worth Nylander money in the open market so I feel as though 9,5 mil is relatively fair. I tend to go a bit higher on the AAV for my ACGM's to not be too much of an optimistic homer.

Disagree, his value is still (understandably) too inflated because of last season. I cannot see us signing him for less than 5 million and at that price I'd rather just pay OEL because I'm more confident in the value... Rather save money and look into getting a younger long term RHD in the future.
