Take out Kuzmenko and it’s a done deal for both teams.

Given that I say van takes it probably means that CGY does not

A couple of B prospects, a guy that's struggling this year, and a 1st. I would be rather disappointed with that return for both Tanev and Lindholm, especially with retention.

I guess we'll see what the trade deadline brings, but I expect the 2 of them to return something along the lines of 2 x 1st + 2nd, or 1st + 3 x 2nds.

Troll post. Flames decline this current deal in a heartbeat. They can get a better return for Lindholm alone

Would it make sense if Canucks throw in Hoglander?

It would make sense if Canucks replaced Kuzmenko with Hoglander and Calgary removed Tanev entirely.

Kuzmenko has very little trade value right now and is not a player Calgary would at all be interested in taking on

I think Calgary is very high on Nils Hoglander.
I'm guessing they want him more than Kuzmenko.

Well obviously. Kuzmenko turns 28 in a couple weeks. Hoglander just turned 23. I don't think Calgary should target any middle 6 players at all though.
Vancity2196 liked this.

More like the Flames hang up in a second even if you involve Kuzmenko, Flames want young prospects not struggling middle six forwards that are regular healthy scratches.
