Not trading Zegras for a grab bag of lesser assets. Anaheim declines.

Come back with a blue chip piece at wing or RHD if you're serious about a quiring him.

Colorado would certainly be interested in Nelson if he was made available. But i really don’t see why NYI would sell at the moment.

It would create cap problems next year, and COL would almost assuredly have to send salary back but Nelson would kill in COL.

Sorry, missed that part. Still doesn’t add up. Colorado would need money going back AND retention for it to work. COL and NYI are probably not that good of dance partners atm. Nelson would truly be great otherwise.

you ain't wrong. Someone probably would take Malinski but i'm not sure the Avs want to part with their mini-makar.
